Phantom Vehicles, Cursed Cars & Haunted Automobiles

By The Lost Dutchman

In legal terms and for insurance purposes, a "phantom vehicle" is one that - without physical contact - causes injury, death or property damage to another vehicle. But more popularly, a phantom vehicle is of course a haunted vehicle. The phenomenon is not scientifically verified. However, people do find stories about cursed cars and haunted automobiles fascinating; they are the stuff urban legends are made of.

A phantom vehicle can be a ghostly apparition of a vehicle, mostly one that was involved in a fatal car crash. The car mysteriously appears and disappears at the spot where the accident occured. But a phantom vehicle also can be haunted by the spirit of a person. Sometimes a spectre is seen in the rear view mirror or in the passenger seat. If you look in the backseat of the car, you will find nobody there. Phantom vehicles also suddenly appear out of the blue... and disappear again, without a driver behind the wheel.

Teresa Fidalgo's story sounds scary! There are moments in the video where her face is not clear. I can say that it's hard to believe such things if they're not totally proven. But I believe that our world is truly full of mysteries because some of my friends have experienced supernatural events too. For me, with or without ghosts, we should respect the place that we are going to and keep in my mind to be more careful in driving whether it's day or night. Many have said that driving at night is more prone to car accidents. Yeah, it could be because it's dark. So it means, you should lower the speed of your car, and fasten your seatbelt always. I'm doing the same thing whenever I head to Edmonton with my Wrangler Unlimited Jeep, which I bought from one of the trusted dealers in our town.
